Summer of Self Love Virtual Retreat- June 22
June 18, 2010 | Filed Under Love | Leave a Comment
Attention 21st Century Super Woman!
You may not want to tie dye your leather handbag or trade your pumps in for Birkenstocks, but wouldn’t you like some more peace, love and happiness in your life?
I know I would! My friends, Christine Arylo, author of Choosing ME before WE & Kris Carlson, another NY Times best selling author and I have noticed that as women, we’ve all been told we can do anything, so now we feel pressured to do, be and have everything! It’s exhausting, isn’t it?
That’s why this summer, we invite you to join us for a 40-day Virtual Retreat designed to help you take the pressure off and put the peace, love, and happiness on… no matter what is going on around you.
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO THE FREE MINI-RETREAT TELE-CALL we HELD LAST SATURDAY, and TO LEARN MORE.
From June 22 – August 3rd, join super women from around the world as we teach you how to:
· Do what makes you happy, and spend less time, money and energy doing it.
· Attract bigger and better opportunities to you (without working so hard.)
· Switch yourself from overwhelm to calm.
· Stop taking on everything for everyone else.
· Wake up without your first thought being your “to-do” list.
· Relax and take time for yourself without feeling guilty or stressed out.
· Activate your Feminine Super Powers (the real secrets Wonder Woman used to find calm within chaos).
We’ve identified 7 major patterns, beliefs, and blocks that keep women addicted to achieving, unable to slow down, feeling overwhelmed and finding it impossible to keep the happiness, peace and love they work so hard for.
Just like a 40-day cleanse that helps you change self-sabotaging habits, this 40-day Virtual Retreat will literally help you rewire those major patterns in your mind so you can actually enjoy everything you work so hard for… and you don’t even have to leave your house or take vacation time!
And for once, you won’t have to do it alone! We will be there right along with you.

The Summer of Self Love

Are you overwhelmed, overworked and over it?
Introducing the Summer of Self Love!
Doing more downward dogs and trying new daytime planners just isn’t cutting it.
Powering your way through your day, making-it-all-happen and pulling it together for everyone else is exhausting.
And while you get more done in a day than the bionic woman could accomplish in a year, wouldn’t you like to…
-
- brush your teeth before checking your blackberry,
- eat your lunch without multi-tasking,
- and go to bed without your to-do list running through your head?
For as hard as you work, and for as much as you do,
Why is it that you don’t feel happier…
You still don’t have balance…
And you spend more time doing have-to’s vs. doing what you love?
You are a 21st Century Super Woman who’s been told that she can do anything (and we love that!).
The problem is that now you also feel pressured to do everything… perfectly… now and at the same time.
You are not alone.
I’m collaborating with Kris Carlson and Christine Arylo this summer on an exciting new project called The Summer of Self Love.
The free virtual tele-call is scheduled for this Saturday, June 12th at 9am, PST/12PM, EST.
Register and learn more here: Summer of Self Love
Can’t wait to see you on the call!
love, Marci

Catching The Happy Virus
June 1, 2010 | Filed Under Happiness | 3 Comments
Hello readers!
I caught the happy virus last night
When I was out singing beneath the stars.
It is remarkably contagious -
So kiss me.
This poem, “The Happy Virus,” by the great Sufi poet Hafiz, is one of my favorites, and it’s been on my mind during these intoxicating spring days. There’s a wonderful feeling of happiness and love in the air.
This spring I’m trying a little experiment. I’m channeling that energy of spring love and rebirth into a love affair with nature and life!
The vibrancy of the season is inspiring. I can remember living in Iowa and walking down a street that on one day resembled a black-and-white photo in wintertime and on the next would be teeming with new, green life. The tender sprouts and fragrant blossoms would feel like divine grace after the austerity of winter. My heart would open.
We get excited about a new iPad, car, or outfit, but what about feeling the vibrant energy of life itself being new? When we see everything with new eyes, we feel the exhilaration of new life surging forth. We can get intoxicated just from the warmth of sunshine on our skin!
Spring is a great time to put attention on your inner awakening mirroring the outer stirrings of Nature.
We did this at my mastermind group meeting this week. Each member answered the question, “What is looking to be born in my life?” For one woman, it was a new direction for her business. For another, it was a new relationship with her body.
My answer was a new appreciation for, and honoring of, myself. One way I’m acting on this is throughout the day asking myself the question, “What is the most loving thing I can do for myself right now?”
Is something new wanting to come forth in your life? Nurture this new life with these daily practices:
1. Ask yourself, “What is looking to be born in my life?” Take a few minutes to write down your thoughts and place some attention on this daily.
2. Go outside and consciously drink in the springtime. See it, feel it, hear it, smell it. Let it get into your bloodstream and infect you with happiness.
3. Notice what is new and fresh all around you-in nature, in your relationships, in your work.
If it still feels like winter inside your heart, be with that feeling and trust that it will pass. It always does. Keep an eye out for sprouts of hope and happiness, and when you feel them, take time to enjoy them.
Today is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. Let’s celebrate the continual renewal of our planet and our lives.
Happily yours,
